Prepare for the OET with your Language Coach Carl

During the course you will study a wide range of medical language, with a specific focus on ways of communicating effectively with your patients and their relatives. You will improve your reading, writing and listening skills whilst learning vocabulary and increasing your accuracy in your use of grammar. You will be given strategies on how to approach the different parts of the test, and you will complete a full practice test, after which you will receive detailed feedback and further practice to ensure the best possible result in the exam.

What are we tested on?

OET covers all four language skills with emphasis on communication in a healthcare environment. It consists of four sub-tests:

  • Listening (approximately 50 minutes)
  • Reading (60 minutes)
  • Writing (45 minutes)
  • Speaking (approximately 20 minutes)
